In [Friedrich Kahlenberg] Carol travels to the small country of Kolberg on a modeling assignment, where she must fend off the attentions of the impoverished prince. The story introduces Joe Wilson who becomes Carol's fiancée at the end of [Simon Ware]. The art for this story features many fine scenery panels and elegant interiors, in addition to the always beautiful panels of Carol.

Note that Hitler appears (from nose up) in center panel of 1901.
